These are a few of my favorite things:

Early Morning walks with my husband.

We love our walks together. We take our dog Spice. He loves walks too. (Although we don't love how many times he has to stop and pee.) On our walks we get to talk and solve the worlds problems (okay not really). But sometimes we solve some of our own little dilemmas. Mostly we just cultivate and nurture our relationship. We get fresh air. We also get some exercise, although it is not the most rigorous of exercises. It is a nice time to spend together, enjoying each others company, getting to enjoy the outdoors, greeting fellow walkers. I think it makes us happier too. Thanks for the good times Honey!

A good Garage Sale.

I love going to garage sales. It is something I do on most Saturdays. I usually go by myself, but it is much funner with a friend. It is like a treasure hunt. There are a plethora of treasures out there to reward the diligent seeker. You can really find almost anything from clothes, to furniture, to food items, antiques, just about anything you can imagine. A large percentage of items in our home are purchased at garage sales. There are some really great deals to be found out there. And I have found many! I love it when I find treasures! It is so much fun! I also love it when items are marked and displayed well and not too expensive. A good garage sale (or 2 or 20) makes me happy.

Spending Time with my kids

My kids really are fun people to be around. They make me laugh. They are a hoot. It doesn't really matter what we are doing, hiking, surfing in Hawaii, eating snow cones, watching a movie, riding roller coasters, reading scriptures, eating dinner or whatever. My kids are some of my favorite people.

Travel

I love to travel! I like to say it is my hobby, although it is a very expensive hobby and one I wish I could do more of. I love visiting a new place- discovering the sights, sounds, smells and tastes that make it unique. I have been to many places and have yet to visit many more, I hope. Some of the more memorable trips we have taken recently are to Morocco, Spain, Ireland and Thailand. We have a trip to Brazil planned for this summer. I have also been to many countries in Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji. I hope that I live long enough, am healthy enough and have enough money to travel to many more places.

A Good cupcake

Cupcakes are just the right portion. Not too big Not too small. They are cute and can be very delicious. We love cupcakes from Sweet tooth Fairy and 25 Main (two local restaurants). But I think I make some of the best myself. Cupcakes are individually wrapped, easy to eat and portable. You can take them anywhere. They are so convenient. Just the right amount of frosting and just the right amount of cake. Some even have add ins in the middle or on top for extra fun! And so many delicious flavors to choose from. I do like me a good cupcake.
